For American Airlines pilots

Four tools. One app.

AskPubs answers from the manuals, contract, and regs you fly by — with the page cited. AskPubs PBS builds your bid from loaded roster, award, and pairing data. AskPubs Training puts your fleet's CQ prep — AA's own lessons, your flows, your callouts — in one place. AskPubs Seniority shows where you stand, what your seat is doing, and what another one would pay. Same login, same pilot — four tools that already know who you are.

Nearly a thousand verified AA pilots. Over 22,000 questions answered.

AskPubs

Ask the books.

Manuals, contract, regs, MEL — ask in plain English and get the answer with the source cited. Code retrieves and checks the supporting passages first; AI only shapes the final wording from that evidence, and avoids guessing when support is missing.

AskPubs PBS

Build your bid. Know what you can hold.

Tell it the month you want and it builds your regular lineholder layers from your seniority and the current bid data — real report times, credit ranges, days off and layover cities, with the reason each layer is set the way it is. Weighing a different base, fleet, or seat is Seniority's job.

AskPubs Training

Show up ready for CQ.

Your fleet’s training in one place — AA’s own lessons, videos, and Crewcast beside drills for your flows, maneuvers, and callouts, organized the way AA actually trains: QUAL, REQUAL, CQ. Pick your fleet and seat. Everything is yours.

AskPubs Seniority

Know where you stand.

Your number, your seat, and what a different one would pay — off the live roster and the awarded bid months. See who left your seat ahead of you and where they actually went, when a seat could come into reach, and what the move is worth month by month against staying put.

What pilots are saying

Built for the line. Used on the line.

As a new-hire 737 pilot at American, AskPubs has made my transition much easier, allowing me to ask AI rather than waiting for a response from a human.

AskPubs is definitely the future. An easy-to-access, real-time knowledge base that can point you in the right direction. I needed a quick MEL reference, and AskPubs told me exactly where to look in less than 5 seconds, saving valuable time in a critical predeparture phase.

Ask like a pilot, not a chatbot

Vague gets you hedged answers. Specific gets you the rule.

Don't ask this

"How do I read the HI117 message? I want to know how long until I time out."

No start time. No leg count. No augmentation. AskPubs can't do the math without inputs — so it hedges.

Ask this instead

"My duty day started at 0600. I have 4 legs, unaugmented. What's my max FDP and when do I time out?"

Now it has the inputs. It hands you the FAR 117 value, the CBA override if there is one, and the exact citation.

How an answer is made

Ask. Retrieve. Check. Cite.

01

You ask

Plain English — it already knows your fleet, seniority, and bid context.

02

It retrieves

The relevant passages from your documents — never the public internet.

03

It checks

Code checks whether those passages actually fit the question before anything is written.

04

AI-shaped answer

Claude molds the wording from the retrieved evidence; it does not free-answer from memory.

Security & privacy

Trust the answer. Trust where your data goes.

Where your data lives

Your manuals, contract, and regs are stored and searched on a private server we control — not uploaded to a third-party document cloud.

How answers are generated

AskPubs uses code to retrieve, route, check, and ground the answer; Claude only molds the final wording. When you ask a question, AskPubs finds the relevant passages or PBS data first and gives Anthropic's Claude only that context to compose the response — it is not allowed to answer directly from its own knowledge, and when AskPubs can't find support it is designed to say so instead of guessing. Anthropic does not train its models on data sent through its API, and we never sell your data.
